RACHEL E. GRAUMAN GRAHAM
Rachel E. Grauman Graham, 89, of Woodstock died Saturday, March 27,
2004, at Community Hospital in Springfield.
She was valedictorian of the class of 1935 at North Lewisburg High
School and attended the North Lewisburg United Methodist Church. She
enjoyed reading, working of crossword puzzles, crocheting and gardening.

She was born Feb. 1, 1915, in Marysville to the late Evan Wayne and
Margaret V. Cook Grauman and was predeceased by an infant son, Jerry,
Lee, and two brothers, Richard and Roland Grauman.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Herman L. Graham whom she
married June 4, 1934, in Richmond, Ind.; a daughter, Patricia (Kenneth)
Bird of Cardington; three sons, Lawrence M. "Mick" (Margaret) Graham of
Urbana, David A. (Jean) Graham of Sidney and Terrence K. (Tami) Graham
of Marysville; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers,
Charles Grauman of Cable and Lionel (Kathryn) Grauman of North
Lewisburg; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Freshwater,
McDonald and Vernon Funeral Home in North Lewisburg. The Rev. Kathy
Reiff will officiate and burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends
may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
