DEATH TAKES LOUIS SHAW

Louis Shaw, aged 64 years, one of Marysville's well-known citizens, died Thursday morning at 6:45 o'clock in the home of his son, Dwight Shaw, 270 West Third Street, as the result of a stroke of paralysis which he suffered Monday night. Mr. Shaw suffered his first stroke of paralysis last July, from which he never fully recovered although he was able to be up for several months afterwards.

He was born in Leesburg township on December 15, 1865, being a son of Oliver and Sarah Amrine Shaw, deceased. His parents were natives of Taylor township. Mr. Shaw spent his entire life in Union county. Since last October he had made his home with his son, Dwight Shaw and family in this city.

January 25, 1888, he was married to Miss Myra Judy, whose death occurred seventeen years ago, since which time Mr. Shaw had lived in Marysville. After his marriage he and his wife began housekeeping in Taylor township, where Mr. Shaw followed farming. He was a member of the Disciple church.

There remain three children, Mrs. Grace Reed, of Cleveland; Mrs. Florence Carpenter, of Moffit, North Dakota, and Dwight Shaw, of Marysville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, four brothers and a sister, Harry Shaw, Columbus mortician; Howard Shaw, Taylor township; Abraham Shaw, of Marion; William Shaw, Kansas City, and Mrs. Minnie Amrine, of Marysville. Three sisters are deceased, Mrs. Nan Hamilton, Mrs. Frank Griffin and Mrs. Bessie Smith.

The funeral arrangements are in charge of deceased's brother, Harry Shaw, of Columbus.

Funeral services Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Congregational church, conducted by Rev. Forsythe, of Raymond, and burial in Oakdale cemetery in charge of Shaw Davis, of Columbus.
