GRIM REAPER TAKES MRS. HENRY KNOTTS
Mrs. Mary Knotts, aged 68 years, widow of Henry Knotts, died Friday afternoon at four o'clock at her home west of town on the North Lewisburg pike, after a long illness of Bright's disease. She had been in failing health for the past year. Her husband's death occurred Jan. 3, 1917.
Mrs. Knotts is survived by a son, George Knotts, who resided on the Knotts farm. She is also survived by three brothers and a sister, Oliver Shaw, of near Peoria; Morgan Shaw who lives on the Kenton pike, a few miles north of town; Hutchinson Shaw, and Mrs. Amanda Beard, of Sumner, Illinois.
Funeral services Sunday afternoon in the Elliotsburg church at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. Mr. Alderman, and interment in Oakdale in charge of E.E. Gabriel & Son.
