ROBERT E. JACKSON
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Postle-Hale Funeral Home for Robert E. Jackson, 43, 253 W. Seventh St., who died at Memorial Hospital Saturday after an eight week illness.
Born Sept. 19, 1934 in Union County, he was the son of Ivan and Esther (Blue) Jackson, Clark Addition, Marysville. He was married in 1957 to the former Shelby Lockwood who survives. He was a member of the Elks Lodge.
Other survivors include five children, Brenda, Jeri, Sara, Robert and Judy all at home; four sisters, Mrs. Earl (Mary Lou) Holbrook, Raymond, Mrs. Pearl (Carol) Paver, and Sharon Evans, both of Marysville, and Mrs. Larry (Martha) Poland, Milford Center; two brothers, Charles of Indiana and Richard of Marysville.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Elks Benevolence Society. Elks service will be conducted at (?) p.m. tonight.
Burial will be in Raymond Cemetery. The Rev. Morgan Miller will officiate.
