SERVICES FOR MRS. GORDON

Mrs. Thelma Lucile Shaw Gordon, aged 40, sister of Mrs. Melvina Shaw of this city, died at noon yesterday at her residence, 1323 Twentieth Avenue, Columbus, following an illness of two months.

She was a native of Union County, born near Pharisburg on January 18, 1905. Her father, Jacob Shaw, is deceased. Her mother is living. Also surviving are the husband, Paul J. Gordon and a son, Daryl Lee Gordon, aged six, residing at the Columbus address.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home here until time for the funeral services which are to be held at 2:30 o'clock on Sunday afternoon at the funeral home with Rev. Herbert Frazer, pastor of Hansberger Memorial M.E. Church, of Columbus, officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale cemetery in charge of L.H. Miller.

THELMA GORDON

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday for Thelma Lucile Shaw Gordon, aged 40, who died at her home at 1323 Twentieth Avenue, Columbus, at noon Thursday. She had been ill for the past two months.

A native of Union County, she was born near Pharisburg on Jan. 18, 1905, and was the daughter of Jacob and Inez (Green) Shaw. Her father is deceased, but her mother survives. She was married in Raymond on April 22, 1928, to Paul J. Gordon, who also survives, together with a son, Daryl Lee, 6, and a sister, Mrs. Melvina Grimes, Marysville.

Services were held in the Miller funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Herbert Frazer, pastor of Hansberger Memorial Methodist church, Columbus. Interment was made in Oakdale cemetery in charge of L.H. Miller, funeral director.
