THIRD STREET LADY CALLED

MRS. INEZ SHAW DIED AT THE HOME OF HER DAUGHTER HERE LAST EVENING

Mrs. Inez Elizabeth Shaw, 77, of 202 West Third street, died at 6:30 o'clock last evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Melvina Grimes on West Fourth street after a long illness. She was born on March 29, 1872 to Joseph T. and Melvina (Swick) Green and in 1894 was married to the late Jacob W. Shaw who died thirteen years ago. Mrs. Shaw, a member of the Peoria Friends church, resided most of her life in Liberty Township.

In addition to her daughter, she is survived by two brothers, Noah and Tony Green of Marysville and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services are to be conducted by the Rev. Claude Forsythe at two o'clock on Thursday afternoon in the Miller-Lee funeral home. Interment will be in Oakdale Cemetery in charge of William Lee, funeral director. Friends may call at the funeral home.

The names of two sisters, Grace Chappelle of Marion and Mattie Fogle of Amerest, were omitted in the report of the death of Mrs. Inez Elizabeth who died here Monday evening after a long illness. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock at the Miller-Lee funeral home with burial in Oakdale Cemetery.
