PEORIA LADY WAS CALLED
Mrs. Anna Thompson Vanderau, aged 71, of Peoria, died at her home last night at 10 o'clock of Bright's disease after an illness of several months and after being confined to her bed for the past three weeks.
She was born August 22, 1869, in Liberty Township to Evan Shaw and Jane Coder Shaw. She married Frank Thompson in August 1890. Mr. Thompson is deceased. Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Imo Welch of Peoria.
Four sisters, Mrs. Ida Blue and Mrs. Eva Bowersmith, of Peoria, Mrs. Martha Frye of Marysville, Mrs. Jennie Bonham of Akron, and two brothers, Harrison Shaw of Marysville and Arthur Shaw of Peoria, are also living. Five grandsons and one great-granddaughter survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Friends church at Peoria, of which the deceased was a member, with Rev. John Forsythe officiating and interment will be made in the Raymond cemetery in charge of Willard Winter, Raymond funeral director.
