MORGAN SHAW IS DEAD
Prominent Farmer Residing North of Marysville Died Tuesday Evening
Morgan Shaw, aged 78 years, died Tuesday evening at eight o'clock from a sudden attack of heart disease. He had been in failing health for some time and Tuesday morning he had had a physician. Tuesday evening he went to the well and returning to the house fell over on a bed, where he died before a doctor could be called. He resided four miles north of Marysville on Kenton Pike.
He was married to Miss Hannah Thompson in 1861. They had no children.
Two brothers and a sister are living, these being Oliver Shaw in Taylor Township, Hutchins Shaw, of Olney, Illinois, and Mrs. Amanda Beard, of Illinois.
Funeral services were held Thursday morning at ten o'clock at the residence. The sermon was given by Rev. William Haines. The interment was in Oakdale Cemetery. W.H. Winter, of Raymond, had charge of the funeral.
